In 5th grade, we have a monthly reward activity for students who turn in their assignments and behave well in class. For the February reward, students came up with Minute To Win It games. 5th graders rotated to stations manned and operated by their peers.

We haven't had many snow days this winter, but we definitely got one today! At the zoo, we learned lots about various animal adaptations, observed many animals, and even had a chance to play in the snow ourselves! Our February book report was a puzzle.
