After following the lesson students will be able to:
- Identify the constants, variables, and math signs in various equations with 100% accuracy.
- Demonstrate that they recognize the two basic algebra rules by selecting the correct response in a multiple choice question with 100% accuracy. The two algebra rules are: 1) Isolate the variable on one side of the equation by removing all constants from that side of the equation. To do this perform the opposite math operation; 2) Balance the equation by performing the same math operation to the other side of the equation.
- Apply the two basic algebra rules to find the unknown variable with 80% accuracy for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division equations.
